NOTE: An additional patch lead is required for the steering controls depending on the make of radio being fitted.
For Chrysler and Jeep cars made before 2007 this interface with ISO cables allows use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit.
A SINGLE WIRE NEEDS CONNECTING UNDERNEATH THE CARS STEERING COWLING
This interface has a loose wire which needs to be joined to a wire underneath the cars steering cowling. Full instructions are included.
This interface is for vehicles that do not have CANbus wires at the back of the radio (CANbus at the radio was introduced around 2005). The CANbus wires are white and white/orange in pins 5 and 6 in the 22 pin connector at the back of the radio. If the CANbus wires are present, a different CAN steering control interface will be required.
Must be used with patch lead to suit make of head unit being fitted.
