Porsche 986/996 Complete Double DIN fitting kit with Pioneer EVO head unit (Carplay/Android)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Pioneer SPH-EVO64DAB multimedia head-unit and retain the use retain the use of the original Bose amplifier in Porsche Boxster (986) and 911 (996) cars.

This kit comes complete with a Pioneer SPH-EVO64DAB Double DIN (MODULAR HIDEAWAY UNIT) car multimedia head-unit with Car Play and Android Auto.

This complete fitting kit includes:

2 channel RCA Ground Loop Isolator (20-290-2CHP)

2 channel Low level Phono to Low Level RCA. Includes a built in Ground Loop isolator to reduce electrical interference and on/off "Popping" to amplifiers. Use the adjustment dials on the adapter box to match the output of the radio to the input of the amplifier. Can be used both individually and with our 23-240-series interfaces

ISO to DIN antenna adapter lead with 12v power feed (21-120)

Antenna adapter cable for cars with ISO connectors that have amplified original antennas. This cable converts the cars existing ISO aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers.

It also provides a power feed to give 12v from the car radio to the cars amplified antenna.

Porsche Boxster 986 and Porsche 911 996 amplifier retention interface (23-245)

MOST fibre optic interface designed to retain the use of the original fibre optic amplifier in Porsche Boxster or 911 to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.

The interface connects at the back of the radio, it takes the phono audio output from the new radio and converts it to a digital signal that works with the original fibre optic amplifier. Note, the front to rear fade feature will be lost.

Vehicle compatibility: Boxster (986) with fibre optic amplifier and 911 (996) with fibre optic amplifier

This interface includes speed pulse and reverse signal output.

To identify the amplifier, check under the bonnet (front storage) and the amplifier should be visible and look similar to the below image. If the amplifier has the 2 orange cables going into one connector (on the left in the image) then this is a fibre optic connection and will require this interface.

To adjust out any external noise from the system we recommend that this part is used in conjunction with our two channel RCA ground loop isolator 20-290-2CHP.

Fits Porsche 986/996 car models WITHOUT THE TOP CUP HOLDER

The aftermarket Head unit mounts directly into the fascia so no need for an additional fitting cage.

Some trim modification is required when fitting the aftermarket head unit, please see fitting instructions
