The camera replaces the original high-level brake light housing for a discreet OEM-style installation while providing an elevated rear view to assist with reversing, parking and manoeuvring. The camera specification supports CVBS / AHD and NTSC / PAL configurations.
The stereo, monitor or camera interface must support the same video format used by the camera. An AHD camera output requires an AHD-compatible display.

Yes. CVC-CIT-01 is integrated into a replacement high-level brake light housing for a discreet vehicle-specific installation.
Yes, provided the stereo has a compatible reversing camera input and supports the video format being used. An additional adapter may be required for a standard RCA/phono input.
AHD supports a higher-resolution image when used with a compatible AHD display. CVBS is a conventional analogue video format supported by many aftermarket stereos and reversing camera monitors.
The supplied specification gives an approximate night vision distance of 25ft, with minimum illumination rated at 0.1 lux.
The camera includes a power connection cable and a 10-metre video cable for routing the connection through the vehicle.
