SOT ISO adapter harness for selected Mercedes-Benz vehicles built after 2017 with the original 7-inch MBUX system without built-in satellite navigation. Provides speaker and power connections for a compatible aftermarket Bluetooth handsfree kit. Also works as a speaker breakout T-harness for amplifier or subwoofer installation when used with an additional ISO speaker extension. Not compatible with earlier NTG, Audio 30, Audio 40 or factory-amplified systems, including Bose and Harman Kardon.
Connect a compatible aftermarket handsfree kit or access the factory speaker wiring for an audio upgrade. Designed for selected Mercedes-Benz vehicles built after 2017 with the original 7-inch MBUX multimedia system without built-in satellite navigation.
For original 7-inch MBUX systems without built-in satellite navigation and without a factory amplifier only. Vehicle model and year alone do not confirm compatibility. Check the radio system and connectors before purchasing.
The SOT (Sound On Top) lead provides additional speaker and power connections from the original radio for an aftermarket handsfree phone kit.
Suitable kits include Parrot, Bury, Motorola and Nokia models supplied with a compatible ISO harness. The phone kit must have the appropriate ISO harness to connect to this adapter.
Use the adapter as a T-harness to break out the original speaker wiring for connection to an aftermarket amplifier or subwoofer installation.
This application requires an additional ISO speaker extension cable, available separately in 2.5m and 5m lengths. The harness provides access to speaker wiring; amplifier power wiring and any required signal conversion must be arranged to suit the equipment.
