The dual-camera design provides two independent rear views. One camera can be used as a dedicated reversing camera, while the second can provide a continuous rear-view image when connected to a suitable monitor, stereo or camera switching system.
Both cameras are integrated into the replacement high-level brake light housing, creating a discreet OEM-style installation while maintaining the original appearance of the rear of the vehicle.

How the two camera feeds are displayed will depend on the monitor, aftermarket stereo or switching equipment being used.
The camera specification supports CVBS / AHD and NTSC / PAL configurations.
The stereo or monitor must support the same video format used by the cameras. An AHD output requires an AHD-compatible display.
CVBS is a conventional analogue video format supported by many aftermarket stereos and reversing camera monitors.
