The Alpine SPC-L500F is an ultra-slim silver flush-mount speaker created for motorhome and campervan living areas. Its three carbon-reinforced drivers deliver clear, wide-dispersion sound while the discreet aluminium grille blends neatly into walls, panels and cabinets.
For many years, conventional car audio speakers have been used to create sound systems in motorhomes and campervans. This is often less than ideal because standard speakers can require significant installation space and may be mounted in overhead cabinets facing towards the floor. The result can be a poor sound stage, reduced storage space and compromised sound quality.
Alpine Adventure Audio In-Cabin speakers are extremely slim and can be installed in a wide range of locations, helping create excellent sound quality and staging without taking up valuable cabinet space. When combined with a powerful DSP amplifier such as the Alpine OPTIM8 PXE-C80-88, the system can deliver its full performance potential throughout the motorhome cabin.
The SPC-L500F's expertly tuned three-driver array provides smooth, lifelike sound from a slim profile with a clean, minimalist appearance. It handles up to 50 watts RMS and 100 watts peak power.
For the best sound results, Alpine recommends installing the speakers as a pair and combining them with the matching SPC-D84L subwoofer system.

The stainless-steel grille can be removed and rotated so the Alpine logo remains correctly orientated after installation.

The SPC-L500F is the flush-mount version, allowing the speaker to blend discreetly into a suitable motorhome wall, panel or cabinet. The alternative SPC-L500S surface-mount model can be fitted onto a cabinet, corner or ceiling and aimed towards the listening position.
The three ultra-slim carbon-reinforced drivers provide a frequency response extending up to 20kHz and a wide dispersion angle for excellent sound throughout the motorhome cabin.
With an overall mounting depth of only 26mm, the speaker can be integrated into suitable locations where conventional car speakers would take up too much interior space.

The SPC-L500F can be installed horizontally or vertically to suit the available interior space and desired sound coverage. Its removable grille can be rotated so the Alpine logo appears in the correct orientation after installation.
Speaker orientation also changes the dispersion pattern. Consider the listening position and cabin layout when choosing the mounting direction.
The 4-ohm SPC-L500F can be used with a compatible internal head unit amplifier. For increased control, output and tuning flexibility, it can also be driven by a suitable DSP amplifier such as the Alpine OPTIM8 PXE-C80-88.
When using an active DSP amplifier configuration, follow Alpine's recommended crossover and equalisation settings to protect the speaker and achieve the intended sound response.
The speaker's frequency response begins at 120Hz, so a subwoofer is recommended to reproduce lower bass frequencies. Alpine recommends the matching SPC-D84L in-cabin subwoofer system for a fuller and more dynamic sound.
Flush mounting requires a suitable flat surface, a 504mm × 38mm cut-out and at least 26mm of clear installation depth, plus clearance for the cable and connector. Check behind the panel for wiring, pipes, structural supports and other obstructions before cutting.
