Ford Fiesta Stereo Upgrade
This vehicle-specific interface allows the original audio controls to continue working when a compatible aftermarket stereo is installed in selected Ford Fiesta 2008-2011 models with the small red/orange display and M button on the steering wheel.
Important: An additional radio-specific patch lead is required for the steering controls. The correct lead depends on the make and steering-control input of the aftermarket stereo being fitted.
Product Overview
Replacing the factory Ford radio with an aftermarket head unit can prevent the original steering wheel buttons and dashboard display controls from operating correctly. This interface converts the vehicle’s original control signals into a format that a compatible aftermarket stereo can understand.
Once installed with the correct radio-specific patch lead, it allows the supported audio buttons on the steering wheel to operate the new head unit. It also allows access to compatible factory functions shown on the original small red/orange display.
The interface is specifically intended for selected Ford Fiesta 2008-2011 vehicles with the M button on the steering wheel, the smaller red/orange display and the correct original radio connections.
Key Benefits
Continue using compatible factory steering wheel audio controls with the new aftermarket stereo.
Retains access to compatible vehicle functions shown on the original small red/orange display.
Developed for the specific Ford Fiesta control system with an M button on the steering wheel.
Can be connected to compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and other aftermarket radios using the correct patch lead.
Check Before Ordering
The registration year alone is not enough to confirm compatibility. Check all three vehicle features before ordering.
The vehicle must have the smaller original display above the radio, illuminated red or orange.
Confirm that the original steering wheel audio-control panel includes the M button.
Compare the original vehicle plugs with the product images before purchasing the interface.
Keep the Original Hazard Switch
Keep the original Ford hazard switch after removing the factory radio. To access the vehicle’s display menu functions following installation, remove or disconnect the aftermarket hazard switch where applicable and reconnect the original Ford hazard switch. Store the original switch safely so it remains available whenever vehicle settings need to be adjusted.

Further Details
A radio-specific patch lead is required separately.
Different aftermarket stereo manufacturers use different steering-wheel-remote connections. The patch lead adapts the interface output to the input used by the selected radio. Choose the lead according to the stereo brand and model.
The interface allows access to compatible factory functions on the small red/orange display. The original hazard switch must be kept and reconnected when access to the display menus is required.
This version is specifically intended for vehicles with an M button on the steering wheel. Fiesta models with an OK button use a different control system and require a different interface.
InCarTec Buying Advice
Ford Fiesta models produced around these years can use different factory displays, steering wheel buttons and radio connections. Before ordering, check for the small red/orange display, confirm the presence of the M button and compare the original radio plugs with the product photographs.
