PLEASE NOTE: The airbag light cannot remain below the radio due to the 9 inch display. The supplied light assembly must be connected and safely secured behind the new stereo before vehicle power is restored. Airbag status remains visible on the instrument cluster.

This complete 9 inch stereo fitting kit is designed for selected Ford Transit Custom Limited and Sport models manufactured between 2012 and 2016. It is intended for vehicles with the original information display above the radio and the passenger airbag status light built into the factory radio assembly.
The kit includes a vehicle-specific 9 inch fascia, CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface, universal patch lead, AM/FM aerial adapter and Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly.
It retains supported steering wheel controls, date, time and temperature display functions and factory parking sensor audio. The included airbag light assembly allows the original connector to remain connected after the factory radio has been removed.
Retains supported original steering wheel audio controls with a compatible aftermarket stereo.
Maintains supported date, time and temperature information on the factory display above the radio.
Retains supported factory parking sensor warnings through the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface.

The Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly connects to the original vehicle plug and must remain connected behind the new stereo after installation.
Due to the size of the 9 inch display, the passenger airbag light cannot be retained in its original position below the factory radio. This does not prevent the upgrade because the airbag status remains displayed on the vehicle's instrument cluster or dashboard.
Ensure the vehicle's power is fully switched off before disconnecting the original radio or airbag light connector.
Carefully disconnect the passenger airbag light connector from the rear of the factory radio assembly.
Attach the supplied Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly to the original connector in the vehicle.
Safely position the connected assembly behind the new stereo. Confirm it is connected before restoring power to the vehicle.
Most 9 inch Perfect Fit stereos have a much shallower chassis than conventional 2-DIN stereos, so less work is usually required behind the dashboard.
This creates more room for the wiring and interfaces, potentially reducing installation time for professional fitters and retail customers.
This kit is for selected Transit Custom Limited and Sport 2012-2016 models with a display above the radio and an airbag light incorporated into the factory radio. It is not compatible with Euro 6 vehicles or models fitted with an “M” button.
The interface maintains supported date, time and temperature information on the original upper display and allows supported adjustments through the steering wheel controls.
The new stereo must have a compatible wired remote-control input. Available functions depend on the vehicle controls and stereo. Telephone buttons may not be retained where they share seek functions.
The interface retains supported factory parking sensor audio using the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface.
The included 21-106 is a passive Fakra-to-DIN aerial adapter. It does not provide phantom power and is unsuitable for aerial systems that require a powered antenna amplifier.
Before refitting the dashboard, test the stereo, steering controls, upper display, parking sensor audio and radio reception. Confirm the passenger airbag light assembly is connected and safely secured before restoring vehicle power.
