Retain the Original Kia Sorento Reverse Camera

This camera retention interface allows the factory-fitted reverse camera to continue working when replacing the original navigation system in selected second-generation Kia Sorento models with a compatible aftermarket car stereo or head unit.

Without the correct retention interface, the vehicle’s original reversing camera may no longer operate after the factory radio has been removed.

Integrated 12V to 6V Voltage Converter

The original Kia parking camera operates using a lower voltage than the standard 12V supply commonly provided by aftermarket stereos.

This interface includes an integrated 12V to 6V voltage converter, providing a suitable power supply for the vehicle’s factory-fitted reverse camera and helping protect it from being supplied with excessive voltage.

Designed for Aftermarket Stereo Installation

The interface converts the original camera connection into a format suitable for connection to the reverse camera input of a compatible aftermarket stereo.

When correctly installed, the factory camera image will be displayed on the new stereo screen when reverse gear is selected.
