Originally developed for the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, this fitting kit is also compatible with selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos that share the same mounting platform, including the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, Alpine INE-AX809 and Kenwood DMX80AXS.

The supplied NTG1 steering wheel control interface enables retention of the original steering wheel audio controls whilst providing CAN-Bus integration outputs for compatible aftermarket stereos. A Fakra to DIN aerial adapter maintains radio reception, whilst the vehicle-specific 9-inch fascia panel delivers a seamless OEM-style dashboard finish.

PLEASE NOTE: This kit is only suitable for cars with original basic NTG1 radios. Cars with the upgraded COMAND APS NTG1 radio will require a different interface.

This head unit fitting kit includes:

Antenna adapter cable

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Steering wheel control interface and universal patch lead

The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.

The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation

This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.

The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.

This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.

Mercedes SLK (2004–2008) 9 inch fascia adapter (MATT BLACK)

Designed specifically for the SLK, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.
