The NOCO Boost X GBX55 is a powerful 1750A portable 12V jump starter for petrol engines up to 7.5 litres and diesel engines up to 5.0 litres. It features UltraSafe 2.0 spark-proof and reverse-polarity protection, 60W USB-C Power Delivery, a 200-lumen LED flashlight and an automatic 60-second jump-start timer. Please note: Battery condition, battery capacity, outside temperature and the manufacturer’s approved starting procedure can affect jump-starting performance.
Spark-proof technology helps prevent sparking during the normal connection process when the GBX55 is used in accordance with its instructions.
The reverse-polarity warning indicates when the positive and negative clamps have been connected incorrectly.
UltraSafe 2.0 adds enhanced thermal efficiency and power management to improve performance and support longer internal battery life.
Once Boost mode becomes active, the GBX55 begins a 60-second jump-start sequence.
Attempt to start the vehicle during this active period. When the timeout is complete, the unit must be switched off and then back on to initiate another sequence.
A severely discharged battery may have a voltage that is too low for the GBX55 to detect automatically. Manual Override allows Boost mode to be forced on after the correct battery polarity has been positively identified.
Important: Manual Override disables the normal spark-proof and reverse-polarity protection. Only use it after positively identifying the correct positive and negative terminals and reading the supplied user guide.
The USB-C input and output support Power Delivery at up to 60W when the GBX55 is used with compatible USB-C charging equipment.
The internal power bank can charge compatible phones, tablets, laptops, wearables and other USB-powered devices.
Higher-output compatible USB-C Power Delivery equipment can recharge the GBX55 more quickly than a conventional USB power source.

This five-minute feature provides emergency jump-starting power and does not represent a complete recharge of the GBX55.
