The Thinkware BCFH-60SW is a compact Full HD exterior side camera designed to add another recording angle to a compatible Thinkware dash cam system. Its wide 126° field of view helps cover vehicle sides and areas conventional front-and-rear cameras may miss. The IP68-rated housing resists water and dust for dependable exterior use. Connect directly to selected Thinkware cameras or use with the MB100 Multiplier Box as part of a multi-camera system.

The compact BCFH-60SW exterior camera records in Full HD and provides a
wide 126-degree view of activity alongside the vehicle.
Conventional front-and-rear dash cameras can leave areas alongside
the vehicle outside their field of view. The Thinkware BCFH-60SW
provides an additional exterior recording angle to help capture
activity occurring beside the vehicle.
Its compact, low-profile design allows it to be fitted discreetly
on either side of a suitable car, van, taxi, motorhome or commercial
vehicle.
Measuring only 29mm wide, 45mm deep and 26mm high, the camera can
be positioned neatly on the exterior of a suitable vehicle without
creating an unnecessarily bulky installation.
Supplied cable sections provide the reach required for routing the
camera connection into the vehicle and towards the compatible
Thinkware dash cam or MB100 Multiplier Box.
The BCFH-60SW records clear Full HD 1080p video, providing useful
evidence of activity and incidents occurring alongside the vehicle.
Footage is stored through the connected compatible Thinkware dash cam
system.
Capture activity close to the vehicle's side that may be outside
the view of conventional front-and-rear cameras.
Record passing vehicles, cyclists and other road users travelling
alongside the vehicle.
Add another camera angle to a compatible multi-channel system for
more complete vehicle coverage.
The wide field of view captures a broad area beside the vehicle. This
provides an additional perspective of parking damage, passing traffic,
pedestrians, cyclists and other activity close to the vehicle's sides.
The side camera provides supplementary recorded footage and is not a
replacement for vehicle mirrors, direct observation or factory
blind-spot safety systems.
The camera features an IP68-rated housing designed to resist water
and dust. This allows it to withstand demanding exterior
conditions when installed correctly in a suitable location.
Correct mounting, cable routing and weather sealing are essential.
Any cable entry points created during installation should be sealed
appropriately to prevent water entering the vehicle.
The BCFH-60SW can be connected to the Thinkware MB100 Multiplier Box as
part of a multi-camera dash cam installation.
The MB100 accepts feeds from up to four compatible additional
cameras.
The additional camera feeds are combined into one composite
recording for the main dash cam.
The main front camera and four additional cameras can create a
five-channel recording system.
Add left-side or right-side recording to a compatible Thinkware
dash cam system.
Capture additional exterior footage to support passenger and
vehicle protection.
Monitor exterior sides, loading areas and locations conventional
cameras may miss.
Add side-view coverage to help monitor the larger exterior area of
a motorhome or campervan.
Select a secure mounting position that provides a clear view without
obstructing doors, mirrors, windows, lighting or other vehicle
equipment. Confirm the camera position and viewing angle before
permanently securing it.
Route the cable safely through the vehicle, keeping it away from
airbags, pedals, controls, sharp edges, excessive heat and moving
components. Exterior-to-interior cable entry points must be sealed
correctly.
Exterior camera installation requires careful positioning, secure
mounting, weather sealing and safe cable routing. Professional fitting
helps ensure the camera has a useful field of view, exterior cable
entry points are sealed and the camera operates correctly with the
connected Thinkware system.
