Expand a compatible Thinkware dash cam into a comprehensive five-channel recording system. The Thinkware Multiplier Box combines the feeds from up to four additional cameras into one composite input, while the main dash cam continues recording the road ahead. Ideal for taxis, vans, motorhomes, fleet vehicles and drivers needing wider side, rear, cabin or cargo-area coverage.
PLEASE NOTE: Additional compatible cameras and cables are sold separately.
Expand a compatible Thinkware dash cam into a comprehensive
five-channel recording system. The Multiplier Box accepts feeds from
up to four additional cameras and combines them into a single composite
recording input.
A standard Thinkware dash cam records the road ahead through its
main front camera. The Multiplier Box allows up to four additional
compatible cameras to be connected through the dash cam's secondary
camera input.
The main camera continues recording the forward view, while the
Multiplier Box merges the four additional camera feeds into a
single composite video. Together, this creates a five-channel
vehicle-recording system.
The Multiplier Box connects to the supported secondary-camera input
of a compatible Thinkware dash cam.
Connect up to four compatible rear, side, exterior or cabin cameras
to suit the required vehicle coverage.
The four additional camera feeds are combined into one composite
video feed for the dash cam.
The front camera records the road ahead while the composite file
displays the four additional camera views.
The video feeds from the four additional cameras are arranged into four
separate sections within one composite video file. This allows footage
from several areas of the vehicle to be reviewed at the same time.
The main Thinkware dash cam records the forward-facing view separately,
providing five-channel coverage across the complete system.
Choose compatible cameras and cable lengths to create a system that
suits the vehicle. Cameras can be positioned to monitor the rear,
exterior sides, cabin, passenger areas, load space or other important
locations.
Position a compatible camera at the rear of the vehicle to record
traffic and incidents occurring behind it.
Exterior or side cameras can help record activity in areas that
conventional front-and-rear systems may miss.
Add a compatible interior camera to record passengers, the cabin,
load space or cargo area.
Add road, rear, side and cabin coverage for passenger and vehicle
protection.
Monitor additional exterior areas, doors, loading zones or the
vehicle's cargo space.
Use additional cameras to cover the sides, rear and interior of a
larger vehicle.
Create wider vehicle coverage for incident evidence, security and
driver protection.
When the compatible Thinkware dash cam is correctly installed for
parking surveillance, the additional cameras can provide wider
monitoring around the parked vehicle.
The motion-detection system can monitor the complete composite image
produced by the four connected cameras. This can help capture activity
and parking incidents outside the field of view of a traditional
front-and-rear camera system.
A five-channel dash cam installation requires careful camera positioning,
cable routing and system configuration. Professional fitting helps
ensure each camera has a useful field of view, cables are concealed
safely and parking surveillance operates correctly.
