Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300, Vauxhall Vivaro 9-inch Perfect Fit Stereo Kit (Standard Radios)
This 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo fitting kit allows selected 9-inch aftermarket stereos to be installed into compatible Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300 and Fiat Talento models from 2014 onwards with original standard radio systems.
The kit provides the main fitting parts required to replace the factory radio with a compatible 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo while retaining factory steering wheel audio controls where supported. It includes a matt black 9-inch fascia adapter, steering wheel control interface, patch lead and Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with 12V phantom power feed.
This fitting kit is compatible with selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos including the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, Alpine INE-AX809 and Kenwood DMX80AXS. These 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos are usually much shallower than conventional 2-DIN stereos, meaning less work is usually required behind the dashboard. This can help reduce installation time and is useful for both professional fitters and retail customers carrying out a stereo upgrade.
The matt black fascia adapter is built as a bespoke fit for the vehicles in the application list and adapts the dashboard aperture after the original radio has been removed. It accepts a universally mounted 4-screw 9-inch head unit and helps retain a clean OEM-style appearance in the dashboard.
The supplied steering wheel control interface adapts the original vehicle wiring to aftermarket ISO connections and allows compatible steering wheel audio functions to operate the new stereo. The included aerial adapter converts the original Fakra antenna connection to a standard DIN connection and provides a 12V phantom power feed for the original amplified antenna.
Important Notes:
- On some late vehicles, around 2018 and newer, you may need to manually wire in a separate ignition live feed as these vehicles may not naturally have this supply within the original radio plugs like older models had.
- Some vehicles with Stop‑Start feature will require an interface to be installed inline with the power ISO plug of the new stereo. The interface allows the unit to stay powered when the vehicle engine shuts down and restarts. If you are experiencing this with your new installation, you will need a 10‑603 adapter in addition to the fitting kit.
This kit is only compatible with vehicles originally equipped with the standard radio system; factory navigation head units require a separate navigation-specific kit.

Fakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power
This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.
Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Nissan NV300 (2014 Onwards) audio SWC interface
This interface will allow you to retain the use of the steering wheel controls with a standard original radio.
