Add an aftermarket reversing camera to the original factory radio and display in selected Toyota vehicles from 2012 onwards. Designed for compatible display and navigation radios with a 24-pin connection, this adapter converts the factory camera input to a female RCA socket for connection to an aftermarket camera.
PLEASE NOTE: This adapter is only for adding an aftermarket camera to the original Toyota system. To retain an original factory camera when fitting an aftermarket stereo, use InCarTec 27-282 instead.
This Toyota reversing-camera input adapter allows an aftermarket rear-view
camera to be connected to the original factory-fitted radio and display in
selected Toyota vehicles from 2012 onwards.
It is designed for compatible Toyota display and navigation radios fitted
with the original 24-pin camera connection. The adapter provides a female
RCA video input, allowing the video connection from a suitable aftermarket
reversing camera to be integrated with the factory screen.
This interface is intended for vehicles that do not already have a
factory reversing camera but are fitted with a compatible original
Toyota radio and display.
The adapter connects to the appropriate factory radio socket and provides
an RCA video input for the new aftermarket camera. This allows the camera
image to be displayed on the original Toyota screen when the system is
installed and configured correctly.
Suitable for selected Toyota vehicles fitted with a compatible original
display or navigation radio and the required 24-pin camera connection.
A suitable aftermarket reversing camera with a standard RCA video
connection is required. The camera is not included with this adapter.
Check that the chosen camera is compatible with the video format accepted
by the original Toyota display before installation.
Wiring requirements can vary according to the camera and vehicle. If you
are unsure about any connection, professional installation is recommended.
An aftermarket camera, extension cable and any vehicle-specific mounting
accessories are sold separately.
Add an Aftermarket Reversing Camera to the Original Toyota Display
PLEASE NOTE: This adapter is only designed for adding an
aftermarket camera to the vehicle’s original Toyota radio and display.
It cannot retain the original factory camera when the factory radio is
replaced.
If you are fitting an aftermarket car stereo and need to retain the
vehicle’s original factory reversing camera, please use
InCarTec 27-282.

Retaining the original camera?
If the original Toyota radio is being replaced with an aftermarket car
stereo or head unit, use InCarTec 27-282 to retain the
compatible factory-fitted reversing camera.
